摘要：The local entropy formula for continuous actions of amenable groups provide a method of getting a lower bound for the topological entropy. For any discrete group G and any nonempty finite subset A of G, the restricted permutations of G with symbols in A yield a subshift of finite type. I will discuss how the study of restricted permutations leads to a notion of permanents for amenable groups, and some application of the local entropy formula to the entropy of restricted permutations. This is based on joint work with Klaus Schmidt.
